For me, servant leadership is centered around the idea of caring for and building successful teams, who take ownership of and drive the growth of the product or organization. A servant leader prioritizes the needs, growth and development of their team members over their own interests.
What’s one of your favorite or proudest DISQO leadership moments?
I find our leadership brainstorming sessions to be my favorite moments, as they often lead to the fresh ideas, innovative solutions, and new strategies. I especially enjoy participating in our quarterly and yearly planning sessions, where we come together to set our big-picture goals and objectives.
Sometimes our careers take unexpected turns. Were there any unexpected twists in your career journey and what lessons did you learn from those experiences?
The success of any product or company doesn’t depend on the specific organization or product itself, but rather on the people and teams involved. A strong and capable team can bring success to any product or company.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a people leader at DISQO?
Collaborating and working with exceptional people is what I find to be the most rewarding aspect of my job.
When you’re not focused on DISQO, what might we find you doing?
Spending time with my family brings me joy, whether it’s watching movies with my daughter, playing with my son, or enjoying a warm evening stroll in Yerevan. I also enjoy exploring new places both inside and outside of Armenia.
