Meet the people behind the success of DISQO's brand experience (BX) platform

Michelle is an all-star talent development professional, dedicated to helping DISQO Nation deliver on our Growth Mindset value. But, her commitment doesn't end there, she strives to build a culture that recognizes the dedication of our people, celebrates diversity, and allows them to thrive.

What do you love most about your job?

I absolutely love onboarding our new employees. It's a privilege that I get to be one of the first faces they see at the company, and I find it really rewarding to help people get comfortable and settle in. First impressions are key, so having the chance to shape and influence how people experience our culture is both an important and exciting part of my role.

What does your ideal Saturday look like?

My ideal Saturday would start off as a slow, relaxed morning—just me, a cup of coffee, and some quiet time. Then, I’d go to spin class and end my day watching the sunset at the beach.

What’s one of your favorite or proudest DISQO moments?

One of this year's highlights was receiving the "Team Member of the Month" award for partnering with our Customer Success (CS) team on a training project. The goal of this project was to foster new ways of working between our CS team and our customers, ensuring stronger, more effective partnerships. Being recognized alongside two amazing colleagues is especially meaningful, as "team" is one of our company's core values, and the success of this project was truly a result of our cross-team collaboration. I’m proud to have helped create an engaging learning experience that ultimately enhanced our ability to serve our customers.

What was the last TV show you binge-watched?

I love reality TV. My latest obsessions have been "Love Island" and "Love is Blind: UK."

What’s something most people don’t know about your role?

People often assume that, as part of the People Ops (HR) team, I'm involved with tasks such as hiring, benefits, or legal matters. However, my role is centered on talent development, where I focus on designing learning programs and experiences that support the growth and development of our team. Whether that's onboarding new employees, leading DEI initiatives, or managing our employee recognition programs, my goal is to help cultivate a culture where our people truly thrive.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself!

I was a game show contestant on "Let's Make A Deal" and was fortunate enough to walk away with some prize money!
