My role centers around user acquisition. I love how it combines both art and science together. Some days, I focus on running queries and analyzing performance reports to make more informed decisions. Other days, I collaborate with multiple teams to brainstorm witty marketing angles and create attention-grabbing content to attract new Survey Junkie members.
Starting my day with a yoga or pilates class, and then enjoying lunch with my family at a dog-friendly restaurant so that Cobe (my 12-year old Japanese Akita) is able to join us. After that, doing some grocery shopping and finding a good boba milk tea place.
I initially joined DISQO as an email marketing associate, but quickly realized I had a passion for media buying. With the support of my amazing team, I got trained and was able to take complete ownership of our paid media channel, and focus on optimizing our return on ad spend to maintain profitable growth for Survey Junkie.

Media buying requires a unique blend of left-brained and right-brained thinking. It's about embracing the new and exciting aspects as well as knowing the basics and doing them well. It's kind of like exercising - while it may not seem like much progress each day, if you do it consistently for a year, you will see results.
